Diphthong- A diphthong (In Greek, di = two and phthong = voice,sound) is a combination of two vowels which has one pronunciation or sound instead of being pronounced separately.
Grouped Consonant th is pronounced as t. Example: -das Theater (tay-AHTER), das Thema (TAY-muh), topic - Always sounds like a t (TAY). NEVER has the English th sound!
